Privacy and cookie statement

This statement explains which personal data Thirdexpert Management & Consulting BV (“Thirdexpert”, “we”) processes when you visit this website, use our contact form or contact us, and which choices you have.

What we process and why
Contact form, email and telephone
When you send a request through our contact form or write or call us, we process the details you give us: your name, email address, telephone number (optional), company (optional), the services you are interested in and your message. We use them to answer your request and to follow up on it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement. We keep your details only as long as needed for that purpose.
If you reach the form through a campaign link (for example in a newsletter or a post), the campaign tags in that link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) are saved together with your request, so we know which message brought you here. We do not use cookies or browser storage for this: the tags only travel along in the link to the form.
The contact form is provided by Tally (Tally BV), which processes the submissions on our behalf and hosts them in the EU.
Website statistics (only with your consent)
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC) to measure how the website is used: the pages viewed, the time spent on them, the type of device and browser and your approximate location. Google Analytics places cookies on your device and receives data from your browser. Nothing is measured and no analytics cookie is placed before you choose “Accept”. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The cookie banner is built with the open-source library CookieConsent (MIT licence), which we host ourselves. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States; Google LLC takes part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Hosting and security
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse. The fonts are hosted on our own site, so your browser makes no request to Google Fonts.
Cookies and similar technologies
Without your consent we only store your cookie choice, in a cookie named cc_cookie. With your consent Google Analytics adds two cookies.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you decline or withdraw, we stop the measurement and remove the analytics cookies we can reach. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

This website links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and the companies we mention. They have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive your data in a usable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what happened before. Contact us using the details above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
