Corporate development, M&A and business development
Filip is a bioscience engineer with an MBA from Vlerick. He has spent his career building companies and the teams behind them. He co-founded Nomadesk and led it as CEO until its acquisition by Banqup Group in 2017, then ran corporate development and M&A there. He is now CEO and co-founder of talentguide.
We worked closely with Filip from 2017 to 2021 following the acquisition of Nomadesk, a company he had co-founded and led. Within Unifiedpost Group, Filip led the corporate development and M&A activities. In that role, he proved himself as a skilled strategist and a diligent orchestrator of the many mergers and acquisitions UPG conducted. He also played a key role in the group's IPO in 2020. Filip is an entrepreneur at heart and a truly empathetic transaction manager, focused on closing deals in a win-win spirit.
At Itineris Filip was responsible for corporate strategy development, including the execution of the company's buy and build strategy. If it wasn't for the current geopolitical environment, I am 100% convinced we would still be collaborating. Filip is one of a kind. He's truly dedicated and focused on adding value to the business. Mieke is a sociologist by training and has worked in HR and communication for three decades. She has been an HR business partner and head of communications in industrial companies, and supports SMEs through Thirdexpert. Since 2024 she is also a Safe Coach at ArcelorMittal Belgium.
